Can, from Trader Joe's. Pours faintly cloudy dark yellow with large foamy off-white head, faintly resinous citrus peel aroma, adequate carbonation, mildly bitter, light citrus peel taste, thin watery body, medium finish. Watery and poor in flavor.

Can from Trader Joe's in Davis, CA. Pours translucent amber/gold with a large frothy off-white head. Aroma of mildly roasty malt and light, mixed citrus. Flavor is just a bit off - too much malt - but then it's an APA. Mild hop bite. Flavor is mixed citrus, but there might be a little melon. Not gonna be a fav. Not gonna nominate it for lake beer. Just not pleasing to me.

Ever so slightly hazy golden and peach coloured body with a two to three centimetre tall off-white and rather soapy head. Aroma of super pungent and very nice smelling citrusey and hybrid hops with the bitterness and fruit scents that you could imagine - super fresh smelling. Light-bodied; Super soapy and biscuity malt flavours dominate the flavours with the grassiness and light resinous note following soon afterwards, but the fake sugar, toffee and graininess remain with a pungent dose of hay on the tail end. Aftertaste has a wierd balance between a pungent hoppy beer, but a way too strong malty profile that shows nuts, earth, grain and astringent flavours that easily dominate the hops - where were nice, but they have vanished, among other things. Aftertaste is showing a bit too much pungency and funk that doesn't really give much worthwhile to the APA, but it shows the funk and bitterness throughout. Overall, a pretty poor beer all things considered, but the initial looks and mellow competition seemed for a great working relationship that have since faded. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Trader Joe's in Arlington (Clarendon), Virginia for US$1,00 on 16-February-2019.

$1.00 can from Trader Joes, C-ville. Pours slightly hazy gold with a large off-white head. Aroma is slightly perfumey, orange zest. Flavor is subdued citrus (mainly orange), light roasted honeycomb, caramel malt, light green grasses. Simple, but totally worth a buck.

Pours an amber from a can. Pine and citrus aroma and flavor. Kind of unimpressive and unbalanced. Meh.

Can from Trader Joe's. Pours a clear golden copper with 2 fingers of white foam that lingers, then dissipates. Caramel malt nose with some grapefruit and orange zest aromas. Malty on the palate, but light bodied overall. Orange zest, grapefruit flesh and light grassy notes. Finishes with some caramel malt sweetness, lowish bitterness, light citrus. Tastes a little watery though.
