A twist on our beloved Fort, Fruit-Full Fort is brewed with four types of berries - Raspberry, Blackberry, Boysenberry and Elderberry! This juicy blend of dark berries creates depth and complexity reminiscent of a jammy red wine.

Along with adding a boatload of more berries this time around, we also punched up the malt bill with Munich malt to provide a firm backbone. The result provides balance to the tart flavors of a very berry blend.

Dark maroon in color, Fruit-Full Fort is swirling with notes of velvety cherry and berry sweetness for a full-bodied - and full-flavor - experience!

Admin Note: ABV is listed between 15% - 18%.

Bottle: Poured a murky brown color ale with a medium off-white foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt notes with some residual sugar notes and some jammy notes of blackberry. Taste is a mix of heavy caramelized malt notes with some residual sugar notes with some jammy notes of blackberry. Body is quite full with good carbonation with some warming alcohol notes perceptible. Unique brew with a good mix of flavors.

Bottled 6/18/18. Pours hazy dark reddish brown color with off white head. Berry aroma with a hint of booze. Tart raspberry and blackberry flavors with some alcohol and a little medicinal. Full body with minimal carbonation.

12 ounce bottle. Rating number 4900! It’s been sitting in my cabinet for at least a year. Unsure of bottling date. Hazy brown color. Brief creamy beige head. Aroma hints at sweet berries and heady booze. First sip is big berry flavors and intense warming alcohol. After the initial palate shock, the complex fruit character emerges. Mostly raspberry, though a tasty sweet and sour mashup of blackberries, elderberries and boysenberries as well. Alcohol burn lessens as I sip some more. Reminiscent of a berry fruit wine with an added shot of berry schnapps. Obvious malty backbone helps to balance the fruit and booziness. Mouthfeel is somewhat sticky. Finishes dry red wine finish.

18%?! Wtf! Lindemans on steroids. Or crack! Haha 18%?!? Like a 10% would’ve been too wussy?

One of the remaining beers I picked up in Ft. Worth over the Thanksgiving holiday, I am ready to have a taste. I do like berries, let us see how it translates to a brew. My Great Heights snifter from Houston is out for this one. I lift the lid off the 12 oz bottle and the scent fills the air, very fruity indeed with some chocolate, interesting. The pour is cinnamon brown completed by a eggshell-white rim of foam around the glass. A taste now, wow, a lot of flavor here. It's like a slice of berry pie, what kind I cannot say. Tart veering to sour, I am not put off by that. And I do get the presence of alcohol, 16.5% is hard to cover up. A lot going on here, mostly good.

From a 12 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy mahogany, filled with floaters, and with a quickly dissipating tan head. Aromas of prunes and berries. Flavors are tart mixed berries, sweet molasses and hot alcohol. A nice winter warmer.
