“Da!” the thunder said, as told by T.S. Elliot. Through a dense, ancient language this natural force expressed different truths to different people through a single common word. This bold, layered stout is dedicated to finding your own interpretation, to finding your own Language of Thunder.

Bottle. Pours opaque black, small tan head, good lacing. Aroma is rich cocoa, vanilla, hint of coconut, bourbon. Flavor is merlin plus sweet, light plus bitter. Full body, rich. Coconut has faded, but the beer remains solid.

22 oz. bottle shared by by Chalumeaux. 2019 vintage. Socially distanced in his driveway at 8 feet from each other.... Judge me else where. Aroma is bold vanilla, mild marshmallow, chocolate. Flavor is ridiculous. Vanilla, bitter chocolate, and long lasting coconut. The crazy thing is it doesn’t get too sweet. The bitterness is in the form of chocolate. Wow!! This a hell of a imperial stout!!

Bottle, 650 ml shared with Miro B and Max. Black with beige head. Intensive chocolate, cocoa, some vanilla, coconut, dense, medium+ sweetness. Low carbonation. Smooth and creamy texture. Medium bodied. Listening to Neko Case

Bottle thanks to Anthony. Pours a very dark brown with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong coconut, roasted malt, vanilla bean. Slick body, strong vanilla, coconut, roast, nice sweetness, light booze finish, enjoyed this

Bottle shared at CB. Thanks Dylan! Pours a thick and viscous deep brown to black with a small head that dissipates quickly. Huge coconut and vanilla forward nose with chocolate milk and marshmallow notes. Sweet on the palate, but some roasty coffee notes underneath as well. More creamy vanilla, marshmallow and raw, shaved coconut mid-palate to finish. Smooth and creamy on the palate texture-wise. Long lingering cacao nib, coconut and creamy marshmallow vanilla cream with coffee bitterness. Stellar stuff.
