Can from Waitrose, Gloucester Road, London on 30th September 2020. Sepia to black with fully lacing tan foam. Nutty, chocolaty caramel aroma. Roasty caramel malts in-mouth and finish. Full bodied with an engaging texture.

Can from Beer 52 Has a bit of a strange nose of chocolate mixed with salt. Pours a very dark reddish brown with a small beige head. In the mouth the first thing that strikes is the smooth velvety texture. A milky coffee base on which flavours of caramel and chocolate are layered. Chocolate and fruits in the finish. Very nice indeed – one for relaxing with.

Can from Honest Brew. Black with nice tan head that leaves decent lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, dark chocolate. Taste is same but quite sweet and a salty note as well. There is a bitterness running throughout to offset the sweetness a little. Its quite smooth and moreish, I enjoyed it even more as I drank it. Very impressive.

Sweet stout with lactose, caramel and cocoa nibs, can shared by aspiring Belgian brewer Pieter Van Vaerenbergh. Medium thick, pale greyish beige, mousy but quickly opening head on a blackish beer with cloudy mahogany edges. Aroma of indeed lots of caramel, chewing gum, milk chocolate, patchouli, nougat, vanilla beans, sugared tea, hazelnut purée. Sweet onset, candied figs, blackberry coulis, softly carbonated with a clear bubblegummy edge; smooth, oily body, very caramelly and rather Ersatz-chocolatey main stage with a dash of hazelnut paste, ending with notes of marzipan and vanilla but remaining low in bitterness, while the lactose sweetness lingers. Sleek, postmodern 'designer' stout, a low-alcoholic pastry stout if you will, easily drinkable and delivering what it promises, but lacking a bit in depth for my taste. Stouts - a few exceptions aside - are not Wild Beer's forte, I think.

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy off-white head, little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: nice roast up front, some caramel, malty, good roast, mocha. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: soft roast, pretty sweet, caramel, grains, some milk chocolate. Aftertaste: sweet, some diacetyl, butter notes, soft bitterness, malty, grains, cow fodder, lots of caramel, some ripe banana.

Many thanks for this craft beer to dantomlinson. I feel like Richie Millionaire. Now I serious. Piwo ma ladna piane lekko bezowej barwy, pachnie wypiekami domowymi, plackami maslanymi z jablkami, piernikiem, chlebem litewskim. Barwa o dziwo przezroczysta, przepuszcza swiatlo, liczne refleksy ciemnej czerwieni, wiec jest klarowne, nie metne. Wanilli sporo, nuty palone, laktoza nie drazniaca, choc jej nie znosze tu nie mam sie co czepiac. Piwo smaczne, chmielowe wykonczenie na podniebieniu. Do tego bardzo mineralne, lekkie skojarzenia z solonym gose. Doskonale do twardego sera. THX Daniel.

Can. Pours hazy coffee brown with stable light tan head. Clear aroma of coffee, yeast and malt, with touches of chocolate. Sweetish flavour of lactose, chocolate and caramel malt, with touches of yeast and dried fruit and mild notes of roast. Lactic and caramellish afteraste with notes of yeast and roasty touches. Nice, quite teddybearlike.
