Super hazy, chunky golden and peach coloured body with a thick, raw honey coloured glow, with a thinnish, single centimetre tall head, but the body itself is probably close to 90 per cent opaque. Aroma of rich lactose, oranges, sugars, malt, mangoes and a bunch of papaya and melons - very thick in the nose, all from the fruits and sugars, it seems. Full-bodied; Very strong mango, papaya and malt notes show through everything with a big fruitiness and a lot of dryness and sweetness at the end that produces some maltiness as well, with a light bitterness from the hops, but more is shown in the fruitiness from the hops than any bitterness. Aftertaste is rich, malty, with a good deal of mangoes and papaya notes here with the lactose really capping it all off and being pretty obvious, especially in terms of the body. Overall, not a bad unfiltered (and New England-ish) IPA, but not great and while closer to Imperial Status than some others, this still is just an unfiltered IPA that has some nice flavours, especially from the tropical fruits, without any real bitterness and a lot of flavours and body derived from the lactose. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Knightly Spirits in Orlando, Florida on 12-February-2021 for US$5,99, sampled on the beach, at my hotel in West Palm Beach, Florida, the day before leaving on 14-February-2021.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 7/1/2019. Pours very hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, red apple, mango, honeydew, watermelon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, light peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops, lactose, and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, red apple, mango, honeydew, watermelon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, light peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, red apple, mango, honeydew, watermelon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, light peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops, lactose, and bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/silky/bready/grainy, lightly sticky, and slightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 8%. Overall this is a fantastic Milkshake NEIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops, lactose, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, with the mildly bitter/drying finish; great soft feel. Feels like Galaxy, Citra, Mosaic, El Dorado. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a perfectly balanced lactose, and wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding spot on style example. One of their best so far.

Bottle shared at Zack's Epic Tasting. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Dried citrus peel and light grapefruit aromas on the nose. Smooth on the palate, with caramel malt, pine and citrus standing out. Easy drinking with good balance between malt and hops. Medium bitterness finish.
