[33cl can from Aldi, Bracknell.] clear amber pour with a tight white head; somewhat sour grainy aroma; smooth and creamy in the mouth with a dry biscuity taste; and a hint of grassy bitterness then a scattering of esters to finish.

330ml can. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a lasting thin white head. The aroma is grainy malt, yeasty, light cardboard, light grassy hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a yeasty, light bubblegum, light spicy, light dry floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Can from Aldi, Reading. Gold with a white head and a pleasant frothy fizz. Metal, rice pudding, foam banana sweets, light bitterness, hint of toast. Tastes as cheap as its £1.29 price point, but I'm still happy to have doubled my rates in this rare style!

Can from Aldi Inverurie. It pours clear golden with a medium foamy white head. The aroma is soft, sweetish, foamy banana candy, toasty grain, melon and some American cream soda. The taste is crisp, dry, grassy, soda water, green banana, slightly chalky, toasty grain and a touch of pithy lemon with a drying finish. Lightish body and moderate, prickly carbonation. It's OK. Good rare style tick though!
