Huge fizzy foreverlasting head, hazy. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, weeds, minerals, fruit stones, grass, berry skin, co2 stinging in the nose, sour berries, sawdust, yeast, black currants, hints of strawberry. Taste is dry sour-ish, sorrel, soda powder, weeds, hay, berry skin, minerals, paper, grass, black currants, fruit stones, sawdust. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish mineraly mouthfeel, fizzy carbonation. Boring.

0.33 l bottle from 'Beyond Beer', best before July 2018. Gusher! Slightly hazy, golden amber with a massive, dense, stable, white head. Sourish-fruity aroma of blackberry, dark cherries, plums, raspberries and some straw. Moderately sour, slightly sweet, quite fruity, rather dry and a bit woody taste of lemon, blackcurrant, blackberry, raspberries, straw and some cherries, followed by a short, moderately tart, rather dry and slightly woody finish. Thin to medium body, moderately astringent and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very simple but well-balanced and refreshing, pretty nice! I get the scent of Rote Grütze as well but it could have been much more.

In der neuen Flasche mit klassischen Design. In der Nase tatsächlich Grütze-Beeren. Im Trunk sauer, aber sehr harmonisch, dann fruchtig beerig, hinten trocken, vielleicht auch Salz. Sehr bekömmlich und erfrischend.

0,33 l bottle from Beyond Beer, Hamburg. Murky orange with a two finger frothy white head. Raspberry smell. Taste has also raspberries, low sourness. Increasing sweetness. Nice one.

300+ ml. draft @ Kaapse Maria. Post-Borefts 2017. Day 2. Darker amber orange, creamy white head. Smells like spoiled rotting fruit, vinegar. Rotting wheat, fruit, vinegar, bread malt. Spoiled bread & fruit taste. Totally weird, not totally bad but nuts not a sour tick like I hoped when I got this.

At a tasting, thanks, small creamy head, light cloudy deepish orange color,aroma and flavor of red fruits and yoghurt, more vibrant fruit in flavor and some honey in the back, empathic strong but not piercing sourness. Very nice and enjoyable.
