Bottle from Wine Rack, West Byfleet. Can just pick up a sour aroma. Apple vinegar. Fitting, because it looks like cloudy apple juice. No head (well, a few millimetres). Lemon juice sour. But does seem slightly restrained. Light bodied. The palate is really taken over by the acidity, especially with the influence of the, admittedly, soft carbonation. Slick. Long astringent and dry finish. A chalkyness to the mouthfeel. A passable effort. Does what’s expected without ever breaking new ground.
