Plenty of British Crystal malt in the grist lends this ale its rich color, its caramel maltiness, and adds the occasional whiff of toffee to the nose. An addition of American and German hops to the kettle at the end of the boil is used to suffuse our Pale Ale with a gently spicy hop finish.

On tap @ Urban Piqniq. Aroma of tropical fruit, ripe fruit and yeast. Pours cloudy golden color with thin creamy white head, good lacing and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with mild sweet biscuit malt and faint barnyard note, following is grassy, floral and herbal with mild medicinal note, while finish is pretty bitter. Light to medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Refreshing and a bit funky...

Pours clear dark golden with a lasting, thin, foamy, white head. Aroma of lime juice, lemon zest, mint, honey, green apple, faint DEET, pineapple. It tastes light fruity sour, lemony, some apple & unripe tangerine, and light to medium hoppy bitter, grassy, hint of pine. Dry, piney & floral hoppy finish, citric touch, lingering apple. Medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation. Bit underwhelming.

Bottle. Cloudy golden, offwhite head. Lightly oxidized, honey and citrus aroma. One-dimensional Crystal caramel notes, medium light body, lawnmover beer lightness, a bit grain and Werthers Original, grassy hops. Uncomplicated, a bit boring.

[as Steamworks Signature Pale Ale] Il gusto al naso viene catturato da luppolo, agrumato e floreale. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e la continuità olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. La carbonazione è bassa. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è deciso. L'intensità gustativa è elevata. La costanza gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali che permangono sono luppolate. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è intenso. L'aroma in bocca porta note di miele, frutta secca, luppolo, agrumi, pompelmo, limone e scorza d'arancia.

From a 500 ml can purchased in Revelstoke. Pours a clear copper with a thick off white head. Aroma of grass and tropical fruit. Flavors are mild bitter with some caramel sweetness. Decent for the style.

Bottle 0.33l at Oluthuone Leskinen, Oulu. BBE 17/07/2018. Color is slightly cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Sweetness, some distant hints of wheat, some fruits, some hops and malts. Sweet crystal APA.

An orange beer, a head is almost medium and blond. Aroma has tropical fruitness, caramel and some fruit candies. Taste has caramel malts, citrus and tropical fruitness, nicely strong bitterness. Some notes of fruit candies also in the taste. Medium bodied. Strong caramel, but luckily the bitterness is balancing.

33cl bottle from Brausesyndikat, Bielefeld. Malty bitterness. Round and refreshing, malty. Caramel there, intense bitterness, round and smooth with a dry grainy body. Neutral bitterness in the end, round and refreshing. Ok.
