Bottle from Hop and Barley. Relish brown colour with a white head. Aroma is cheese smoke. Taste light sweet to smokey. Rich body.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy copper, frothy off-white head. Aroma: Strongly smoked meat, light wheat. Taste: Starting with pretty strong smoked ham, going into more wheat flavours and ending with a combination of wheat and smoked BBQ flavours with hints of ash and charcoal. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Must try for lovers of traditional smoked beers. Classic. Very nice.

Bottle at the brewery. Dark color thick offwhite head, persistent, lacing. Aroma is juicy malts plum and a soft smoked tone. Light fruity notes of citrus and banana with bacon and charcoal. Leftover of smoked sausage and speck.with orange peel. Dry finIsh, lIght citric and smoked.

Tap on Schlenkerla, Bamberg. Dark brown with a offwhite head. Light smoke and wheat aroma. Light bittersweet with a soft smoke and wheat end.

Die Aecht Rauchbiere sind inzwischen recht bekannt. Sie zeichnen sich durch den rauchigen Geschmack nach Geselchten aus. Meins ist das nicht, aber ich bin sicher, dass es Freunde findet.

It looks like a Dunkelweizen, brown hazy color with an amber shine, thick beige head. Aroma is smoked, smoked ham. Taste is smoked too, with some sourish notes from the weizen, and there isn't the typical weizen banana flavor. Low carbonation. Mouthfeel less oily than most of weizen, but it was good and easy to drink.
