Clear pale golden colour, small white frothy head, disappears quickly, hardly any lacing. Sweet malty nose, bready, corn, cardboard. Taste medium sweet, light bitter, light to medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Finish medium sweet, light bitter, bit watery.

Bottle from Brady’s Bar. Clear golden body with a thick white head. Lively carbonation. Excellent lacing. Aroma of lemon and grain. Flavour of grassy hops and a faint corn sweetness. Thin body with a watery texture. Fizzy carbonation. Given that this was half the price of any other beer in the bar, I was pleasantly surprised. Not bad at all.

Can at the room 316 Tasting at the Tulip, Bodegraven, from Jumbo Hypermarket Cascais (via the ’Sham) 27/09/13. Clear pale golden with a good sized off white head. Nose is cereals, pale malts, corn on the cob minus the buttery niceties. Taste comprises corn, cereals, grass, metallic tang. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry grassy finish. Ok for style - there’s a lot worse out there!

Niby to Pilsner, ale jak lager. Mało gożki. Jasnu i prawie słomkowy. Piana nawet fajna i trwała. Ale poza tym to chyba masówka

11 July 2012: 330ml can poured into a tumbler on the balcony of our holiday apartment in the Algarve after a days sun lounging. Just what I needed: usual pale lager/pilsner look, feel and odourless nose. This your typical cheap European pilsner and fine for hot days in the sun, but not for serious beer drinkers.

Paid 1.20 Euro for a single bottle. I’m real glad they had singles for sale, this is just as bad as the standard Super Bock. Pale lagers are not my thing. Here yet is another example of why. Urine color. No head or retention. Soft carbonation. Nose is a weak grain, showing nothing else.  Has a strange bitterness. I’m really searching for some kind of flavor... I just can’t find anything here. Thin and watery. Why even bother taking the time brewing this??? I rarely pour out a beer. This went down the drain. After this trip I will not touch a pale lager again for awhile!
