Milky medium amber colour, good creamy off-white to beige head, good retention and lacing. Aroma toasted malt, grain, caramel, liquorice, sweet syrup, candy sugar, subtile roast. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, caramel, again that subtile roast undercurrent. Medium boady, oily texture, soft carbonation, smooth malty sweetbitter aftertaste, earthy notes, a very good, wonderful beer.

200ml draught at Brygg. Remaining beige head, misty brownish body, good lacing. Moderate aromas of mild caramel malts, mid-dry. Balanced taste profile of caramel malts, biscuits, and ripe fruits. Drying, bittersweet close. Medium bodied. Like it. (Oslo, 16.08.2024).

Can at home in homage to lovely evening we had at Cirque Du Solei last evening. Rich amber pour and fine frothy head. Nose is caramel and some dried fruits. Tastes of caramel, cardboard, mixed nuts, plum, hint of brown rice.

473ml can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours red/brown, with fine whitish foam. Aroma is intensely malty and caramel, a little nutty, figs. Body is average, with moderate carbonation. Taste is a good mix between the malty sweetness and some toasty bitterness. Final is is fairly long with some bitterness.
