  Weizen - Hefeweizen Regular
Score
6.22
ABV: 5.5% IBU: 12 Ticks: 50

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of wheat and malt as well as lighter notes of fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, wheat, and fruits, among them a light note of banan, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

Bottle, 5.5%. Very weak banana aroma. Cloudy golden colour. Big stable white head, slightly plasticky. The flavour has some banana and citrus like most other German wheat beers. This one is not as spicy, though, making it less interesting.

Bottle:Almost clear, golden, huge stable pillowy head, lively carbonation; light fruity (lemons, bananas & cloves) and wheaty nose with a touch of turpentine; light to moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, including a light acidity, light to medium bodied, quite soft; short weheaty-bitter finish. Not the hottest Weizen on earth......

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. The beer tastes very yeasty, very much like flour. Finish too dry, too less fruity. Not so good!

Rerate from bottle. Now pretty average, dry spicy. Old rating: 5 4 4 2 7 Bottle. Cloudy orange-yellow, big off-white foam. Metallic clove aroma. Lightbodied, watery, metallic, salty, sandy yeast. Not particulary pleasurable.
