Inspired by the woods on the Isle of Eriska.
"This was an attempt to bottle that feeling of being in a damp wood at the start of Autumn, just as the leaves are beginning to turn golden and drop." - Pat Jones

Bottle shared at CBC CG. Thanks to Andy! It pours clear amber with a thick, foamy beige head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, oily, bready malts, orange sponge cake, marmalade, toffee and earth. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, toasty grain, wood, leather, light spice, bread, varnish, grass and some alcohol warmth with a drying, woody finish. Medium body and fine to moderate carbonation. Well rounded and nice example of the style.

Bottle shared at CBC SG. - London. Thanks to Scoopy. Pours clear copper with a creamy, off-white head. Sugary, bready aroma, some caramel. Light to medium sweet flavour with notes of crunchy cereal, light bread, more caramel. Light bodied with average carbonation. Modest leafy bitterness in the finish, more lightly toasted cereal, caramel notes. Not bad for the style.

33cl bottle from Beer52. A clear amber colour with a thick cream coioured head; sweet floral aroma; caramel taste with a touch of spice to counteract the sweetness and a biscuity body; then a gentle grassy bitterness and a touch more peppery spice to finish.
