The Sour Ale is brewed with a few kilos of strawberries added to the brew during the guard, to give it its character so fruity. As for rhubarb, it brings a tangy and refreshing touch to the strawberry flavors. Add to that a hint of heaven seeds for a subtly peppery and salty twist. You then get the Sour Ale, an innovative and experimental recipe, definitely fresh and deliciously greedy.

Bottle @ Fox and Hounds, Sønderborg. Unclear yellow orange body with a thin, lacing white head. Refreshing fruity aroma with rhubarb and a light hint of strawberries. Flavor fruity, refreshing, mild acidic with light rhubarb and just a hint of strawberries. Fine body and slightly acidic aftertaste. Not so complex really, but sure a nice and refreshing beer to drink. Good balance.

Pours clear blonde, small white head. Smell is green, funky, spiced ( herbs ) , bit unbalanced. Taste is full, sharp, herbal, bitter, tad dry. Mild sweetness. Bit to green/herbal to my liking. Nice, malty ending, bit salty

Hazy, light tan. Thick head. I swear cumin on the nose, hing, ajwain...so yeah, curry. On the palate, quite different. Mostly lactic, slight acetic, touch of brett, leather, and then a kiss of strawberry, then rhubarb notes. It's actually ok, just a little strange on the nose.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of rhubarb and strawberries, with some toasted grains. Flavour brings out bright apricot, strawberries and light acidity. Lots of jammy apricot and strawberries, with an oaky and lightly acidic finish. Solid.
