Bottle. Color: Clear orange amber,very thin white head. Quite dark for a triple. Aroma: Sweetish, malty, yeasty dried orange. Taste: Sweetish, bit sugary and sirupy, orange and orange peel notes, some yeast, malty, subtle caramel notes and spicy hints. Light bitterness, somewhat more bitterness at finish. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Mwah, drinkable but not much more.

Triple très moyenne qui vaudra à peine un chariot, cette bière n'en est toutefois pas désagréable. Pas de complexité toutefois et épices (coriandre, girofle) et alcool (faisant plus que ses 8,6%) nettement en avant. Ce sont juste des arômes de biscuit et d'écorce d'orange qui viendront quelque peu agrémenter le tout. Le visuel est satisfaisant avec un blond doré/orangé légèrement trouble surmonté d'une fine mousse blanche. Le nez fait quelque peu peur sur la pomme de terre, de légères épices, le biscuit et l'alcool. L'amertume est relativement présente sur l'attaque avec tout de même alcool et épices sur les devants. Biscuit et écorce d'orange complètent le tableau. La deuxième bouche, d'une bonne corpulence voit l'alcool prendre nettement les devants, conférant un bon tempérament. Aucune évolution cependant en arrière-bouche. Le final est sage, laissant l'alcool en bouche. Triple à la française.

Bottle @ tasting at TomHendriksen. Thanks for sharing. Gusher!! Hazy orange color, small off-white head that diminishes quickly. Smell and taste both are quite sweet and malty. Weirdly enough it reminds me a bit of La Trappe Quadrupel which I quite like. A bit too fruity in the flavor to really compare to LT Quad but I’m pleasantly surprised. Not bad at all. Maybe not a great tripel style wise but I found it to be a nice unexpected surprise.
