Keg at Dispensary CPH, 10/05/18. Black with a well presented tan head. Nose is dark malts, light peated notes, meaty, smoke, treacle toffee. Taste comprises scotch barrel, peat, brown sugars, burnt toffee, fruit cake. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad for a smokey / peaty #.

Dispensary, Copenhagen. Keg. As 'Barrel Blend' 9.1%> Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Tangy dark malts, mild dark malt cream and tangy dark chocolate. Light barrel character. Whisper of fruity whiskey and very mild peat. Little spice on the finish. Nicely fruity whiskey but still light.

On gravity, at the LHG taproom, Bristol 21/9/2017. Deep brown in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Aroma of dark fruits, marzipan, plain chocolate, tobacco and a whiff of roastiness. The mouthfeel was full and vinous, with some more oaked sweetness, chocolate, dark fruit and a lingering, warming alcohol finish. Excellent.
