Bottle in Meldrum. It pours clear yellow with a small white head. The aroma is quite sweet, toasty grain, doughy bread, paper and dried herbs. The taste is crisp, dry, doughy white bread, grainy, some sweetness, herbal, paper and soda water. Lightish body, fine carbonation and slightly grainy mouth feel. Fairly ho hum. A bit sweet if anything.

Bottle from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - golden with a light haze. Good head. Nose - sweetcorn, a touch of corn syrup. Dank and a touch stinky like a dish cloth. Taste - more corn syrup, going into caramel biscuit, but only just. Palate - light bodied, creamy texture. Dry-ish finish. Overall - it ticks a lot of the lager boxes.
