A Belgian Pale brewed out of our their love for bitter Belgian session blond ales and the subtle interplay of hops and spices. We bitter this little pale ale to 50IBU add a big charge of Falconner's Flight hops in the whirlpool. On top of that we layered 5 different spices in the kettle, designed to delicately compliment the hopping and lift the complexity.

Keg at the brewery tap. Pours clear orange-gold with a creamy, white head. Mild herbal notes on the nose, crispy pale grains, biscuits. Light to medium sweet flavour, some tangerine, biscuits, mellow bitterness. Medium bodied with fine tonaverage carbonation. Nicely balanced conclusion, with more citrusy notes, biscuits, mild bitterness. Well rounded overall.

Keg at Affinity. It pours hazy golden - amber with a decent white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, liquorice, red berry, grassy, herbal, bread, mango and orange. The taste is crisp, dry, light bitterness, bready, pithy, zesty, straw, hay, bread, lemon rind, lemongrass, herbal, paper, aniseed and cracker with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Somehow the balance works well. Decent.
