Agave complements the refreshingly light quality of our wheat and adds a subtle note of flavor that expands this beer’s uplifting taste profile. It is familiar, yet creative.

On draught at Old Chicago.

Pours a hazy orange yellow with a small head of foam, good lacing.

Smell is of wheat, fruity in an odd way..agave.
Really light lifeless aromas

Taste is strong wheat, earthy agave, hint of tartness, otherwise lacking in flavour to my palate.

Drinkable but not more than 1 glass wanted.

Tasting flight at the taproom in Denver. Cloudy gold, white head, wheat, citrus (?) and agave nectar (floral) aroma. Raspy carbonation but a rough earthy flavor that then gives you wheat and some sweeter notes. No, thanks this tastes too rough and I want a wheat beer to be smooth.

Bottle at America on Tap Deep yellow color, smattering of bubbles on top. Rich bready malt with plenty of spicy wheat character and a pinch of earthy hops. Couldn’t find the agave in here, but I’m interested enough to try a bottle again in the future.

Draft pour at the field brewpub. Rating from my notes. Pours a cloudy golden color with a ton of fizz head. Soft straw aroma. Flavor is over ripe banana, fruity, wheat and an odd yeast finish. Not my favorite. Long, sweet finish. Okay.

Pours a hazy light amber from a tap. Corn syrup, wheat in the nose, similar flavor. Not much going on, but not bad tasting.

Draught @ Albion. Cloudy bright orange with small off-white foamy head, high carbonation, citrus taste, abrupt finish with slight lemon peel bitterness remaining. Did not get the agave flavor at all.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 2/4/2015. Pours hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, clove, wheat, biscuit, honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of bready malt, agave, and fruity/earthy yeast notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, clove, wheat, biscuit, honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Minimal earthy bitterness and light wheat tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, clove, wheat, biscuit, honey, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. very nice robustness and balance of bready malt, agave, and fruity/earty yeast flavors; with zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a damn nice pale wheat ale style. All around great robustness and balance of bready malt, agave, and fruity/earthy yeast flavors; and extremely smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Keg at the Waylon - NYC. Pours hazy gold with a foamy white head. Pretty basic stuff, some bread, doughy wheat, citrus. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Bitter finish with some citrus rind, wheat bread, mild piney hops. So so.
