Cask (Bookshop Alehouse, Southampton) - Golden with a foamy head. Grapefruit, tea and some biscuity notes in the aroma. Hoppy and fairly zesty taste with lemon and grapefruit. Rather dry.

Gravicask at The 25th Maltings Festival. Cloudy golden-orange coloured body. Bubbly white head. Scattered lacing. Grapefruit on the nose, lightly spiced. Succulent fruity mix of orange, grapefruit and pineapple. Citrus peels to the aftertaste. Fine bodied. Nice and refreshing. (Newton Abbot 28.04.2017).

Cask @ Veritas, Leeds. Hazy amber-blonde with a creamy head. It has a light fruity-hoppy aroma and taste, but is somewhat bland.

Cask, gravity at Merton Beer Festival, Oxon, Saturday 25th February 2017 Much like the Odyssey Revenant which it sits next to, this pours a silvery, gold in colour with a slim white head,. Fruity with a tropical slant, juicy and really pleasant. This is a really nice beer. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.5

Bottle from Casks & Corks Soton and drunk at home. Haze amber colour lasting off white head. Now that is pretty good. I have to hold it up to things like The Kernel and Brew By Numbers as an APA to see if it can hang in those exalted spaces. Intense floral grapefruit aroma is certainly good enough. A little toffee from the underlying malt. Soft in mouth. Not much yeast character. It’s all about the malt base and the hops that dance on top. Not very bitter on the finish but pretty good mouthfeel, full and not too fizzy. Yes a solid APA. Not top notch but it does the job nicely. Pink grapefruit and caramel.
