Keg at BD Castlegate. It pours jet black with a sturdy tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, dark roast, liquirice dark fruits aplenty, umami, liquorice and tar. The taste is bitter - sweet, rich roasted malt, chocolate cake, loads of dark fruit, plum, date, liquorice, fruit cake, unami and warming alcohol through the finale. Medium - full body and fine carbonation. Good fruity imperial stout. Flavoursome.

On tap at 6 Degree North Edinburgh. Black beer lasting tan head. Drier impy stout. Chocolate flavour is excellent. Full in the mouth. No burn at all. A bit of toffee. Pretty good for an impy stout.

On keg at Six Degrees North, Edinburgh. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - deep dark yet creamy chocolate. Taste - yep, creamy chocolate again. Then prunes and booze. But it's all nicely weighted. Dry bitter chocolate finish. Again just in proportion. Palate - medium bodied and creamy. Rich creamy middle with a beautifully tapered finish. Overall -
