Bad Seed Collaboration Fraise et poivre starts as a traditional Saison, cloves and pepper roll around the tongue while a waft of strawberries delicately tempts the nose. Finally a vigorous carbonation creates a mouthfeel to compliment the delicate aroma.

Bottle from the dregs run. Cheers Stuu! Pretty much does what it says on the tin, aroma and taste-wise. Hazy reddish gold. A little thin.

33cl bottle between four at the 25th Oct 2016 Shrewsbury Beer Share. Thanks to Simon for bringing this. Poured a misty golden colour with a decent sized white head. Aroma had a pepper like bite, no strawberries for me in the nose though. The taste did however have a slight strawberry flavour, pepper still there from the nose: different and interesting.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Oct 16. Many thanks to Simon for this one. Pours a misty gold, good white head. Aroma is peppery with light berry fruit. Taste has mild strawberries and cream with underlying peppery spice. Pleasant easy-going pale.

Very hazy amber beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry, fine minerally carbonation. Mild strawberry and milder pepper. Generic fruits. Dry seltzer. Dry finish. It’s fine but I was expecting more pep from this.
