Here at Dugges, we’re not really big on astrology, numerology and stuff like that. But sometimes, things just align. Like when, for our collaboration, Dave Grant from Fierce Beer asked us: Ever done a triple IPA? And, when we brewed it, it turned out it was our 999th batch. And, that 999 is triple 9. And that, and that, and that… you get it. Together we wanted to further explore the world of rice and Lupulin Powder with a mission of making an as easy-drinking, huge beer that you can make. A session triple IPA if you will. The fact that we made it 9.99% ALC by vol, used three types of hops, that we could have boiled the wort for 99.9min and that both boil and whirlpool at one time was 99.9°C just adds to the story really. Believe it or not.

Decent, but not a up there. Seemed at bit unbalanced. Hazy pale golden color with a fine head. Good lacing. Fine intensity in the aroma. Very hoppy. Ok carbonation level. A bit unbalanced sweetness versus bitterness. Well masked alcohol. Citric, pine, marmalade and fruity flavor.

Draft @ Taproom, Malmö. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity peachy citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy peachy bitter flavor. Has a fruity malty peachy citrus hoppy bitter finish.

On tap at På Kornet, Stavanger. Pours hazy light amber with dense off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, pine needles, some malty notes. Tastes slightly bitter, pretty much sweetness. Medium to full bodied, slightly smooth mouth feel, sweet finish. Would have liked a bit more bitterness.

Fat avenyn. Ljus medelgrumlig. Tung kraftig doft av äpple, vita druvor, åh massor mango samt annanasen. Ok ok med doft. Smaken då?? Omedelbart i munnen lite bärig med Björna bäret och det där svarta vin bäret. Fyllig bärig Dipa . God eftersmak av bär Nää fan skit nu i bären!!!. Ok då annanas och lite äpple åh mye hallon. Bra lite syrlig Tripple ipa. Vågar jag skriva bärig?.

Vom Fass bei der TapTakeoverParty von Dugges im Muted Horn Berlin 2017-06 getrunken. Oh das ist doch echt gelungen. Der kräftige Körper mit einer ordentlichen, aber für mich noch verträglichen Bitterkeit. Nicht schecht!
