On tap at Crowbar, Oslo. Slightly hazy orange to amber with a white head. Hoppy and moderate fruity with lightly spicy notes, hints of pine and citrus. Moderate to medium sweet with a nice bitterness. Certainly a decent IPA!

Draft @ Barking Dog Ale House on 31 Oct, 2014. Super hazy gold color with thick head retention in a shaker glass Aroma is floral and citrus hops with some sweet bready malt.

Flavor is a strong malt and toasted grain up front with the citrus rind and floral hints in the finish. Mostly malt forward with the bitterness being very mild. The body is medium with light yeast character. It’s pretty balanced but it doesn’t stand out in an endless river of IPA’s available on the market. Rather forgettable.

12oz bottle pours a hazy orange with some thin, lacing, white head. Nose is what you expect from Cascade, a little pissy, piney, soapy, some dried orange peel. The malt comes through in the flavor, a crackery/biscuity, mild orange, piney, a little dried herbs, soap. Bitter finish. A bit amateurish.

Draft. An Amber beer with a lading beige head. The aroma has notes malt, caramel, and spicy hops. The flavor is sweet over ripe fruits, malt, caramel, and a bit og spices, leading to a dry finish.

Pours a murky copper-gold, with minimal head. Strong floral/citrus aroma. Flavor is bitter, grassy, citrus, a real Cascade showcase. Pretty good IPA.

Sample at Daily Growler UA. Slightly hazy orange color with a medium thin eggshell white head that recedes steadily to a film. Strings of lacing on the glass. Citrus, hops and malt in the nose. Medium-bodied with flavors of earthy hops, citrus and sweet malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle from La Atlántica bottle shop, Santiago de Compostela consumed at home Thursday 3rd July 2014 Quite a warm orangey colour but a bit murky as well with a filmy, sticky creamy, slim white head. This is a step up from the other two of this series that I’ve had but still has the malty, slightly typical American crystal malt thing that stands out in a lot of their hoppy beers. Hoppy but with a lingering sweetness, a gentle hoppy burn/warmth. We both like this. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Botella de 33 cl en el lúpulo en 26-03-2014 en el momento. Unfiltered ipa with cascade hops.

12o bottle. Unfiltered hazy orange. Pronounced fresh citrus hop aroma, lots of grapefruit. The cascade really turns it into a West Coast IPA. Great.
