Brewed in collaboration with Square Root Soda Works. The nose is alluring with the bergamot and citrus notes blending with the traditional hefe aromas of cloves, banana and bubble gum. The beer is round and refreshing with a soft mouthfeel. The bergamot is present at the front as this deep citrus flavour. The flavour then develops and there is a slight tangy but refreshing bite. At the back one can pick up notes of banana, lavender, aromatic bergamot and bitter citrus. The after taste is lingering and super aromatic with a nice level of bitterness that leaves you wanting more. Perfect summer beer!

Keg at the brewery. It pours hazy golden with a medium white head. The aroma is rich, herbal, grassy, spicy, clove rock, cracker, candied citrus and ginger. The taste is crisp, dry, mellow bitterness, spicy, herbal, grassy, citrus peel, cracker, biscuit, toasty grain, clove rock, lemongrass and green banana with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty OK, but a bit sub-standard for these guys.

Keg at the Beavertown taproom: pours cloudy gold with a creamy, pure white head. Lots of yeast in the nose, doughy wheat bread, flowers, dried banana. Light sweet flavour with more floral character, some candi sugar, bergamot tea, more hearty wheat bread, minimal bitterness. Sweet finish, some biscuits, more wheat bread, a little hay, further tea character. Fun stuff.
