Bomber from Brewforia. Release #11. 5.4%. Pours very dark brown with a creamy light tan head. Aromas of burnt malt and mild chocolate. Med body. Flavor is smooth burnt malt, almost milky chocoate, and some earthy hop. Itβs quit dry, and a bit astringent. Leaves a burning/tingling sensation on the tip of my tongue in the finish. Damn if it doesnβt suggest a touch of chili. Too bad these various releases are all crammed together.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 1/20/12
Aroma: The nose is roasted malts, light chocolate and caramel, bread, dough, and coffee
Appearance: The pour is a dark brown-black color with a small beige head and streaky lace
Flavor: The taste is fairly subdued, mostly roasted malty flavors similar to the nose, lightly sweet
Palate: The body is light-medium, with a fairly short duration, average carbonation, and a slightly dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was a decent stout, but not a particularly exciting one.

22oz bottle, release #6, in trade with Sledutah. Used a pint. Small white head. High carbonation. Good retention and lace. Aroma is roasted malts and sweet chocolate and marsh mellow. Taste is vanilla up front, some caramel and mocha in the finish. This stout has a nice smooth, silky mouthfeel that does make you desire more. WELL worth a try. Thanks Craig!
