Mosaic hops. American Wheat. Summertime. We first brewed a refreshing American Wheat (Fleabitten Wheat from the Experimental Series) late last summer. We really liked it but thought we’d take it to another level by dry-hopping it with Mosaic to add the fruity, juicy, tropically awesomeness that only Mosaic can bring.

Minimal off white head immediately left a thin spotty cover on a translucent, still, golden body. Fruity red berries aroma. Medium to thin bodied. Minimal carbonation. Soft on the palate & clean on the back. Very fruity tastes of red berries, boiled sweets, apricot & peach.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks Alexey. Cloudy yellow. Nice fruity hops, tropical, citric, some wheat, rather dry, graininess, moderately bitter finish, quite light-bodied. Nice and refreshing.

Bottle from Vinomondo, Conwy. Golden-blonde with a very thin head. Hoppy, without a lot of obvious wheat character, but it’s a tasty enough brew all the same. Has a hint of lager malt.

330ml bottle from Stori, Bala. Pours a lightly misty gold, small receding white head. Aroma of cereal malt, wheat. Taste is quite light, high on wheat, surprisingly little Mosaic shining through with a light floral sweetness taking its place. It’s ok, but doesn’t grab me like Wild Horse’s other offerings.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - hazy golden with a nice fluffy head. Nose - a note beyond custard as it has a savoury green note. Broccoli quiche. Taste - more custard and green notes. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - good beer if a bit green.
