Cask at the Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield. Poured a crystal clear light amber colour with an everlasting frothy white head. The aroma is big ginger. There is no room for anything else. The flavour is pure ginger, with a dry, spicy, fiery ginger palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. If you don’t like ginger, avoid this like the plague, otherwise you might actually like it.

12/4/2019. Cask gravity at the Hull Real Ale & Cider Festival 2019. Pours clear golden amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of root ginger, straw, toffee and ginger nut biscuits. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Light to moderate body, slight watery texture, soft carbonation. Develops quite a fiery ginger finish. Quite enjoyable.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O,Nails, Bristol 4/7/2016. Amber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Some sweetish malts upfront, before subtle ginger took over to dominate a refreshing drink. This is the best ginger infused beer I have tried.

Huddersfield Oktoberfest 2015. Golden coloured ale. The ginger is dominant throughout its character, but only slightly overbearing.

On cask at Miners Arms, Hundall -Clear yellow body, thin white head. Huge ginger aroma and taste that leaves burns on your tongue and warms the soul. Superb. If you don’t like ginger, avoid. Better than Marble’s Ginger Beers.
