19/2/2019. Bottle from Adnams Shop, Felixstowe. Pours pale gold with a foamy lasting just off-white head. Aroma is of lemons, lemon cheesecake, light lemongrass and lemon washing up liquid, with light floral and herbal notes developing. Heavy sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, fine carbonation. Slight unpleasant sharp bitterness to finish.Didn't dislike it, and it certainly has the look of a Koln Kolsch but wasn't a huge fan either.

Bottle. Adnams Cellar and Kitchen, Holt, Norfolk. Dirty, murky, dark gold. Matching dirty white head. Nose has something like lavender or lemon verbena. Some spicy herb. Some fruity toffee. Taste has a soft, herby sweetness. A little dry too. Foamy mouthfeel. Burp inducing carbonation. Spice and sweet herb to finish.

Keg at Waterloo Tap. It pours hazy bright yellow gold with a medium, foamy white head. The aroma is fresh, bread, straw, grass, floral and a touch spice. The taste is smooth, grassy bitterness, pretty mellow, straw, floral and plenty of white bread with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Very refreshing stuff.
