Nitro pour at The Magnet. Pours very dark brown with a beige nitro head. Espresso and roasted malts on the nose. Flavour has dry roasted malts, some bread crusts, espresso. Great malts, this is a very good porter.

Pours a dark brown colour with cola highlights. The head is bubbly, warm brown-beige, decent lasting with some light foamy ring. Nice aromas of cocoa, molasses, chocolate malts and hints of vanilla. The mouthfeel is lacking something, like not silky, not dry enough, just missing something. Other that that, the rest is pretty good. Again, chocolate flavours with molasses, roasted malts, cocoa powder and even light maple syrup. Decent bitterness in the finish forming better and better dryness. A very nice porter overall.

650ml bottle. Pours a clear dark brown almost black with reddish hue and a medium, creamy, long lasting, tan head that laces. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel and coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel, licorice and ash with a dry, bitter coffee finish. Medium body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Tasty.

Thanks Frank.
This was poured into an English pint glass.
The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with no head or lace.
The aroma had some rugged dark to bitter chocolate malts with a nice roasty balance.
The flavor lends a hand to the roasty side and then the bitterness of the chocolate nibs end up blending nicely. Robust smooth bitter chocolatey aftertaste running into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. ABV felt nicely.
Overall, really easy going Porter well worthy of having again.
