This strong and refreshing hop beer has American hops added at every stage of the brewing process. This makes it anything but bland – a bit like America in fact. But smaller.

Bit strange this one, aroma is peculiar, difficult to pinpoint exactly but it pours a nice golden colour with a neat foamy head. Has a malt backbone with some bitterness and zest, but its acidic mouthfeel is a little unnerving

Bottle, gift from Tom. Hazy deep golden body with an off-white head. Steady carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of biscuit and dried grass. Flavour of blood orange and glue. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Sharp and flawed.

330ml bottle. Slightly hazy pale golden colour with a big 3 finger white head. Aroma of light citrus fruit, floral. Hoppy taste of citrus fruit, lemon, grapefruit, pine, caramel. Nice bitterness. This was ok but didn’t really stand out in any way, an average, forgettable beer.

Bottle at Craig’s, thanks to Keith’s only homer – BenH. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, porridge, floral action, honeysuckle and a hint of citrus peel. The taste is soft, sweet, oily, herbal, grass, peppery spice, cheap perfume and some nasty burnt rubber vibe that seems to overtake everything else after a while. Medium body and average carbonation. The aroma is not bad, but the taste is pretty awful. This needs a good deal of work.
