Draft at Churchkey. Poured a very light, translucent, almost white-colored yellow with no head at all - I saw a few soapy bubbles, but they were almost instantly gone. Aroma is not entirely apple pie, but apples, some residual pie notes. Flavor is some light apple, cinnamon, booze, sweetness. Even with all that booze, it’s still pretty mellow.

Bottle split at LKS ’Beers of London’ Tasting, high up, 10/12/14. Clear light golden with a few bubbles atop. Nose is apple pie, spice, sweet notes, nutmeg. Taste comprises sweet apple pie, shortcrust pastry, spice, clove, sweet apple pulp, honey licks. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close fairly sweet but the sweetness doesn’t run away too much. Tasty mead.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours clear, oily pale gold. The nose is sweet apple, juicy, earthy, cinnamon, nutmeg, tart tatin, honey and light alcohol. The taste is sweet, oily, honey, apple pie, pear drops, vanilla, alcohol, chewy, ripe apple, dull fruity tartness and spice. Medium body and oily mouth-feel. Straight up apple pie. Thankfully not too sweet. Not much depth, but enjoyable anyhow.

Flavour is composed of warming sweet cinamnon, apple, smooth honey, little maple sryup , Warming alcohol but very smooth. . Palate is full sweet, light spice, tingling on the throat. Really tasty.

Bottle shared at chriso’s pre-Christmas tasting. Pours clear very pale yellow with a few bubbles for a head. Nice apple and cinnamon spice aroma, with a bit of rich honey. Big sweet flavor but not cloying, with some dry spices, ripe apples, cinnamon spice. Full bodied, oily and chewy. Warming finish with nicely rounded honey, ripe and gooey apples, sugary apple pie filling, restrained cinnamon accents. Lovely stuff. So, so drinkable.
