330ml bottle from Beer Gonzo. Pours a hazed dark amber, off-white head. Aroma is smooth malt, cocoa. Taste is smooth with a nice solid body and good fruity hop integration. Really well-balanced, tasty and very moreish.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, chestnut colour with ruby red glimmer and small to average, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Piney and slightly foral, hoppy aroma, dark malty background, notes of red and dark berries. Taste is slightly roasty dark malty, minimally chocolately and bready, piney and floral hoppy overtones, a citrusy touch, notes of dark berries, mild, peppery yeasty spiciness ; smooth and soft, minimally sticky palate. Harmonious and integrated, all of a piece.

Bottle from Beer Gonzo webshop, Earlsdon, Coventry consumed at home, Saturday 6th February 2016 Reddy brown in colour with an off-white head, slightly hazy. Fruity in the mouth but there is also a goodly dollop of resinous flavour here and a pithy element also. Dry finish. Nice beer. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bottle from Cornelius. Dark ruby body with a thick beige head. Excellent lacing. Aroma of coffee, pine, Coco Pops and brown sugar. Flavour of nail varnish, grapefruit and Marmite. Medium body with a creamy texture. Soft fizz. Looks and smells really interesting... but tastes mostly of solvent. Not great.
