Draught @ Thornbridge Den Bosch. Medium sized quite creamy white head on top of a clear golden colored beer. Aroma is lightly malts, honey, lightly herbal. Tastes the same: malts, a bit herbal, honey, slightly bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Meh, not my thing.

Rake. Cask. Lightly hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth with reasonable fine carbonation. Mildly sweet malts. Nice orange - tangerine. Very light spice. Decent elderflower on the back end, not hidden away as happens with so many beers containing these flowers. Light semi dry finish. Most quaffable.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Brighter golden coloured ale with a creamy head. Noticeably dry tasting and this is its dominant character, although there’s a background fruitiness which is slightly more stated in its nose.

Cask at Bath Hotel, Sheffield - Clear golden body, thick lacing white head, very inviting. Nose is hard to place, a bit of citrus, a bit grassy, a bit of herbs, a bit of countryside weeds. Taste has a nice crispness to it, the elderflower taking centre stage with this, although a bit on the watery side. It’s nice and summery, but a little on the thin side.
