Cask: hand-pulled half-pint on 17th July 2015 in The Station, Oakengates. Saw it again the following day in The Market, Chesterfield also, but did not have another try. Golden pour with a white film for a head. Light malty lead for me, with a mild citrus feel latter in the sip. Thirst quenching but not really ’super tasty’ or interesting.

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green, 16/02/13. Lightly hazed pale golden with a thin white head that clears to the edge. Nose is pale malts, orange, citrus, grass. Taste largley follows nose, orange, citrus, pale malts, grain. Medium in body with soft carbonation, dry in the finish. Pretty average fayre - but better than a good chunk of the twig community!
