Keg at House of Hop, Darlington. Golden colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of tangy tropical fruits. Taste is coconut, zesty citrus, tangy fruits, apricot, with grainy wheaty notes and some bitterness. Light bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry fruity finish. Quite OK

On keg at the Bow Bar. Appearance - cloudy golden with a nice fluffy head. Nose - a bit funky but a nice creamy banana note comes through. OH, something savoury and herbaceous on the go too. Taste - oh yes, total coconut takeover. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry but elegant finish. Sone tropical fruit but coconut is main show in town. Overall - just as well I love coconut.

Typical hoppy wheat beer. Not a fan of the hop combo. Juicy and clean though. Defintely a wheat beer.

Huddersfield Oktoberfest 2015. Paler blonde coloured. Mostly fruity with a small and appealing malty kick. The pineapple and coconut in here make it very tasty.

Keg from The Beerhive. Milky yellow body with a short-lived head. No lacing. Aroma of soft pineapple, mango yoghurt and coconut cream. Flavour of coconut, lemon cake and custard. Thin body with a smooth mouthfeel. Weak fizz. This is unlike any other beer I’ve tasted. It’s strictly one for summer. As Pete at The Beerhive says, it’s the beer version of a piña colada.
