Bottle. Curious Hop, Otley. Hazy amber. Messy, bubbly, clingy, white head. Sweet, orangey malts. Some fusty hop. Taste is light bitter. Thin palate. Finishes light bitter. No discernible NZ hop character. Not for me. Pretty disappointing.

Keg at Lyric, Soho. It pours cloudy orange - amber with a decent off-white head. The nose is soft, juicy, bready malt, orange, peach, earth and pine. The taste is crisp, bitter, orange sherbet, citrus rind, minerals, pine needles, toasty grass, earth and varnish with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not a whole lot to it, but I found it rather drinkable. Decent.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy golden/amber body with a medium white head. No visible carbonation. Aroma of lime, wet grass and melon. Flavour of gin and tonic, pale malt and vine tomatoes. Medium body with an oily texture. Light fizz. A fruity, tasty Pale Ale. As a side note - how do Drygate get their labels to stick like they do? It’s tacky to the touch, almost like they’ve been superglued on...
