750ml bottle. Pours dark brown. Chocolate, nutmeg, plum, fair bit of booze for the strength, little toast, plenty of dried fruit. Medium body. Nice. Aged well.

Bottle. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Crystal clear, dark amber colour. Skim of pale tan head. Nose has nutty milk chocolate. Some charred wood. Vine fruits. Bit of fudgy sweetness. Taste is soft sweet. Some cocoa bitterness. Smooth, silky mouthfeel. Finishes lightly chewy, chocolatey bitter. good stuff. Never been a Belgian Ale as the label suggests, mind you.

Bottle at fynefest 2015... Deep black... Dark brown black.. Thin tan lacing... Soft meaty chocolate malts roast nose... Dark roast... Dark bitter chocolate roast.. Dark meaty malts

Bottle at the camping area at Fyne Fest, called The Village Achadunan, Cairndow, Argyll and Bute, Scotland, Saturday 13th June 2015, thanks to whoever brought this along to share. Pours dark brown, a little bit of stock cube, really sticky, lots of dark sticky fruit combined with sticky dark molasses and lots of malt. Lovely tangy, good twang. Tasty. Stood up rating this which isn’t ideal, but do like this, it’s a good beer. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5
