Bottle shared at Leightons house. Aroma is caramel, rubber and smoked phenols, hazed light amber orange with halo of white head. Flavour is caramel, smoke, phenol, dirty earthy, palate semi sweet, moderate carbonation. Meh. Defo some fermentation issues.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours amber with a small white head. The nose is toasted grain, brown bread, caramel, smoke and mild spice. The taste is sweet, lightly bitter, toasty grain, brown bread, smoke and caramel with a dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Not depth to it. A bit sweetish also. Flawed.

Bottle shared in London - picked up at Selfridges. Pours crystal orange-gold with a frothy off-white head. The nose has some buttery caramel, smoked pale malt, dough. Light-medium sweet flavor with present smoke, some further caramel, simple bread. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. More smokey bread and caramel in the finish, faint dry toffee, minerals, doughy bread. Novel but I don’t think it’s entirely as intended.

From London Beer Market and drunk at home. Hazy reddish amber lasting dark cream head. Buttery aroma. Some spicy saaz, some rubber. Some malt. Not much hop on the finish. Mouthfeel is ok but rest isn’t great. Burnt rubber. Mouthfeel is good though.
