Bottle from Drink? Hebden Bridge. The last of my HDM bottles, sat in my cellar for 3 years, but fine when opened. Amber-brown with a frothy-bubbly head. Extremely sweet brown ale, with a darker fruitiness associated with this. Nose is sweet too, and the ale has a mild activity in the palate. Brown ale malts are evident.

Slightly murky brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and mildly dry. Modest fine carbonation. Thin but very tangy malts - moves in to the outer edges of sour, slightly Flemish Red/Brown. Some ripe fruits. Light semi dry finish. Not sure it’s meant to be this sour is it?

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Label states "Yeast Experimentation Series". Hmm. I’m not convinced. A hoppy brown ale (also on the label blurb), this is not. I’m missing something here, perhaps. It’s got sour apples. Lots of tang. As a sour brown it’s ok. As anything else it isn’t.
