Craft 100 at Craft Clapham. Cask. Almost clear dark - amber brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is smooth with decent fine carbonation. Sweetish creamy dark malts, mellow. Trace of coffee. Mellow dark fruits. Light semi sweet finish. Subtle oaking.

Taste comprises rich chocolate, toffee fudge, light spice, oaky notes, dark fruit peel, subtle smoke. Medium + body, fine carbonation, oaky notes in a drying close. Decent, pretty subtle smoke effect.

Cask at Craft 100. It pours near black with a small yellowish-white head. The nose is earthy roast, wood, bitter-sweet, chocolate cake, dull smoke and coffee. The taste is bitter, earthy, toast, ashy, oak, smoke, leather, cocoa and ash with a very dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Oaky, earthy and a bit too dry perhaps.

Draft at Craft 100 April 2015 - London. Pours clear, deep brown with a creamy, tan head. Nice aroma, good roast, light vanilla and burnt wood. Medium sweet flavor with further pleasant burnt wood notes, light peat, dry chocolate, scorched earth bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. More woody aspect in the finish, some baking cocoa, burnt earth. Good stuff, but the wood character is quite dominant.
