This new golden beer, brewed exclusively for this Wetherspoon real-ale festival, contains Devon-grown optic pale malt and Herefordshire-grown hops, resulting
in a pleasing, light (yet full-bodied) floral and spicy flavour throughout.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol, March 2015. Deep gold in colour, with a decent, off-white, head. Stone fruits, some sweetish, bready, malts, leafy hops and a decent, bitter, finish. Good.

Crosse Keys Spoons. Cask. Clear bright gold beer with a few white bubbles for a head. Smooth semi dry palate with mild fine carbonation. Light pale malts being a mild honey sweetness. Peach and apricot ensue with a trace of orchard fruits. Floral bitterness comes in and ramps up to something fairly strong. Smooth dry finish. Long floral bitter linger. Great peach - apricot, really elevates this.

Cask handpull County Hotel Ashford jdw. Clear gold lasting white head. Som biscuit some apricot peach aroma. More of the same in the mouth. Not hugely bitter finish. Ok condition. Caramel aroma. It’s fine. Fruit is interesting and different. Ok.

Cask at the Tilly Shilling (JDW), Farnborough. Pale amber with a ring of white head; aroma of pineapple with a touch of spice; sweet pineapple taste; and a dry fruity finish. Rather good.
