Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Roms (JDW), Bristol March 2015. Golden wirth a slight, white, head. Thin, citrus, character, rich tea malts, some grassy hops, and a moderately bitter finish. So so.

26th March 2015: half-pint in my local Wetherspoons. Light golden pour with a pure white head. Tame citrus aroma and taste, semi-bitter and too me fairly pedestrian in nature. I don’t really like golden citrusy flavoured beers and this comes into that category, sorry guys: not my cup of tea.

Cask at the JDW Square Peg; clear golden amber pour with a bubbly off white head, aroma has caramel plus some fruity action, doesn’t taste that pleasant, stale malts, a hint of toffee.

Cask at the Willow Walk, JDW - London. Pours clear yellow-gold with a soft, foamy white head. Doughy white bread in the nose with hints of ripe lemon. Medium sweet flavor with doughy bread, lemon meringue, some lemon and tangerine, light grass and hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation; OK condition. Sugary pale bread finish, faint grains and hay. A simple sweet golden ale.
