Euston Tap. Keg. Opaque black - brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry and with mild fine carbonation. Smooth mellow dark malts, free of roasty bitterness. Light lactos3 like sweetness. Mild coffee, well buried. Candy orange emerges and gets a little stronger. Mild peel bitterness, light finish. Peel bitter linger. Interesting.

Keg at Euston tap. It pours deep brown with a small beige head. The nose is rich roast, charred wood, cocoa, orange, touch of Terry’s choc orange, creamy, vanilla and toffee. The taste is pretty bitter, big roast, earth, cocoa, dark chocolate, coffee, mild acidity, burnt wood, charry, ash and orange peel with a dry, spicy finish. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Pretty punchy, but a touch dry for me to fall in love with this. Decent anyhow.
