Bottle at home picked up from M&S Watford. A mostly clear golden pale coloured pour with a big rocky white head. Aroma is crisp pale malts, hint of belgian character, fruity lemon citrus, candied lemon, straw. Flavour is composed of rustic pale grains, straw, tangy lemon rind, spicy citrus hop. Palate is crisp pale grains, highish carbonation. drying finish. good.

Love lane in Penny Lane. Worked really fine. Nice refreshing ale.
Golden color with a fine white head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation. Good balance between sweetness and bitterness. Citric, pine, biscuit and mild fruity.

33cl bottle from Marks & Spencer, Camberley, at a stated ABV of 4.7%.A lively pale amber pour with a loose white head; citrusy aroma; soft grainy body with a sweet citrusy taste; and a pleasant biscuity finish with some lingering sweet grapefruit. Nicely balanced biscuity malts and citrus hops, but rather sweet.

Bottle. M&S. Gold. Very light haze. Minimal head. Nose has very sweet, burnt caramel malts. Some minty hop trying to push through. Taste is a jarring combination of toffee sweetness and metallic bitterness. Oily mouthfeel. Sweet, then bitter finish. Not for me, this one.

33cl bottle at home on 15th April 2016: poured into a Westmalle chalice. Clear light orange body, wispy head. The malty nose carries on into the taste where the semi-sweet molasses are tempered by some citrus bitterness, the malty base however wins overall flavour wise, as it does in the aroma.
