16/I/17 - 33cl bottle @ Taco Monday (home) - BB: 20/X/17 (2017-46) Thanks to Wixie for picking me up this bottle!

Little hazy orange to amber beer, small aery off-white to yellow head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very sweet malts, caramel, very fruity, bit resinous, spicy touch, sugary. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet and malty start, spicy, bit sourish, nice bitterness, fruity hops, grapefruit. Aftertaste: bitter, resinous, sweet malts, alcohol, bit cheesy, sweaty feet, caramel. Very good beer, but by no means is this a Sahti/Gotlandsdricke/Koduõlu... More an ipa if anything.

Bottle shared at the Kernel - thanks to Ben. Pours unclear golden-brown with a creamy off-white head. The nose has bready malts, hints of pine, spices. Medium sweet flavor with lightly toasted bread, soft cinnamon, dough, floral hops, some grain husk. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with further bready malts, toast, earth, leaves, mild pine resins. Quite tasty, and novel.
