Brewdog Camden. Keg. Clear brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is airy and light. Mild fine carbonation. Very light brown malts, touch of dry creamy sweetness. Decent piney hops before a light semi dry finish. Not bad.

Keg at BD CLJ, 27/10/14. Light black with a decent tan covering. Nose is light pine, tangerine, faint smoke, earthy hops, bitter tropicana. Taste comprises skunky hops, nice pine licks, red grapefruit, light charr. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a dank hop linger and a pine jacket. Solid CDA, very sessionable for the style.

Keg at Brewdog Shepard?s bush. Murky dark brown coloured pour with a lasting loose cream coloured pour. Aroma is nice a punchy floral lemon citrus and pollen with just a hint of dark roast. Flavour is composed of doughy wheat, slightly ashy roast and nice floral lemon hop and some nelson sauvin like hop. Palate is slightly thin, doughy on the tongue and spritzy carbonation. Lingering honey and pollen. Bit of a cross styles beer but black IPA seems the most appropriate.

Keg at BD Shoreditch - London. Pours clear dark brown with a creamy tan head and strong lacing. Burnt toast in the nose with notes of charred earth and pine and dried citrus. Light to medium sweet flavor with some dried berry sugars, moderate piney bitterness, soft baking cocoa, roast, dusty earth, melon. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Somewhat dry on the finish with nice bittersweet cocoa, more toasted pine, earth, grapefruit, melon, orange rind. Good stuff. Like a session CDA.

Keg at BD CJ. It pours cloudy/murky dark brown with a tiny off-white head. The nose is roasted malt, earth, ash, charred wood and mild treacle-like sweetness. The taste is bitter, toasty, roasted malt, charred wood, pepper, pithy grapefruit, earth, coffee and ash with a rather drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Too drying on the finish imo. Not convinced...
