On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours a very pale (slightly greenish) straw with a small white head and good lacing, with fairly high carbonation. The aroma has continental hops and sweet malts. In the mouth it is sweet and juicy with malts, grains and continental hops plus traces of runny honey and lemongrass. Some slight spicyness in the finish. This is a decent pilsner – very swiggable !

Can from The Made Inn Ashford and drunk on a picnic blanket. Clear deep gold colour lasting white head. Yes quite a malty lager more Czech than German. Bit of Saaz bite on the finish. Perhaps just a bit too malty. Clean though. Ok.

Keg at Port Street Beer House, 03/10/19. Clear golden with a decent off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is pale malts, grass, grains, cereals. Taste comprises corn husk, toasted grains, cereals, stale bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable ... no great.
