A deep golden beer with a creamy white head, with an aroma of toasted malt, orange, fruit and spice notes. Rich smooth nutty malt flavours, a crisp hop bitterness and a lingering apricot and bitter orange finish on the pallet.

Cask at Scottish Real Ale Festival 2014. Clear golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of stewed tea, earth and musty biscuit tin. Flavour of light grain and apricot. Thin body with an oily mouthfeel. Well balanced and easy drinking.

Cask @ Tom Toya Lewis (JDW), Newport. Dark gold with a decent white head. Massive lacing. Aroma of lemon scones, turpentine. Taste is a soapy bitter with a bitter/sour finish. Weak palette. There are some nice notes here and there in this beer but for me it never comes together. I left a fair bit of it.
